JohnBKKK
Hmmmm sounds to me like school lunch victims ........ or they have tried the things they sell as scotch eggs in various UK Supermarket chains - they are horrible - never understood how the "soapy" taste of the "meat" surounding the egg comes about. Can't be the eggs - although we use size 0 (large) free range eggs from a nearby farm which taste just perfect and for the meat we use our Cumberland mix, just made a bit firmer with some rusk to hold together. If the budget allows, they are also very nice wit some slivers of smoked salmon dropped across as well
