Whenever I run a spy ware program it always comes up with list of tracking cookies that it lists as spy ware. I delete them. Are they dangerous of should I just leave them alone?

Whenever I run a spy ware program it always comes up with list of tracking cookies that it lists as spy ware. I delete them. Are they dangerous of should I just leave them alone?

They are basically a cookie that is used to track your web surfing. They are used mostly by advertisers so that ads are specific to your interests.

Not a security threat, more a privacy thing.
