December 12, 200718 yr Am living in Bangkok and have a list as long as my arm of all the electrical goods to bring back for friends this Xmas! Now in the Siam Center most of the DSLites, Ipods PSPs etc are the same price (if not more) than the UK. Upstairs in the MBK they're much much cheaper. Apart from their probable dodgy quality, anybody know if there's anything else I need to worry about in terms of compatibility and ensuring they'll actually work in the UK???? Any help, advice would be great. Thanks
December 12, 200718 yr I bought several ipods in April and took them back to the UK. For myself I bought the 80gig Ipod which cost me £180 with the vat refund I got at the airport. The shop also threw in a case which saved me a tenner. At the time (April 07) they were £259 in the UK but I think you could get them some places for £239. Still a great saving I thought. I bought these at the Apple store in Seacom Square. Thats the authorised reseller on the second floor. They could not have been more helpful.
