Scandy
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but can anyone tell me if there are any supermarkets where I can buy English style pickled onions in Pattaya? No, I am not pregnant!

Up2U
Also seen them in Friendship Stores, on Pattaya Tai. (But you have to search the shelves - they seem to relocate items every fortnight)
astral
I tried pickling my own, but the little red onions you get here go all mushy.
bkk barney
astral. i sometimes pickle them red ones, vinegar and pickling spices, chuck in the onions, leave at room temperature for a couple of days then a week or so in the fridge, pretty ###### good if i must say myself also pickle sliced cucumber, but chuck in a couple of large sliced chilli peppers, that certainly gives em some bite
