If you have ALL of the required documentation, either should be fine.

Earlier this year Hong Kong were still using pre 2003 rules for non immigrant and tourist visas at least. I had them reply via email and when I told them the rules have long since been superceeded, they just stuck to their guns. So, I have no idea how they will react.

However, as the Dr says, with all the paperwork, they should be ok but if there is a cost worry, Singapore offers a cheaper flight as does Penang. I know people personally who have had no problems in Penang but also other who have had problems but they didn't have 100% correct paperwork.

Personally, if I was going, I'd email Singapore and either go to Singapore or Penang. I wouldn't go to Hong Kong unless I had some other reason to go there.

Did you go to Hong Kong on 6 Jan? How did it go? I am considering Hong Kong as a possible Tourist Visa destination in March. I'll appreciate any other input people have about the current situation there for Tourist Visas as well.
