3 Years On But A Day Never To Be Forgotten

On this day, the anniversary when peoples lives were changed forever, I notice some recent postings about 'before and after' and I wonder if people had seen the effects of the Tsunami on the Phi Phi Princess resort .

The buildings are being rebuilt, the guests will return and our daughter who was working in the Dive shop featured in the 10th pair of pictures didn't survive it but will be missed forever.

Hi Mahout Angrit, my deepest condolences for the loss of your daughter in the Phuket Tsunami disaster.

My cousin survived the Tsunami and returned as a volunteer to Phuket. He recorded his story and the company magazine (where he has worked for over 30 years) gave his article the front cover. However, the company did not give one penny to the victims. All of my cousin David's expenses were paid by himself. The company could have given a small donation; I thought it was mean of them. The good news is that my cousin played a role in the volunteers programme.
