I want to take Thai lessons to learn some basics and maybe a little more.

I live in Bangrak but don't drive a car or motorbike so I don't want to travel someplace like Mind Your Language because the taxis will probably cost more than the lessons.

I don't want to get a girlfirend just to learn the language.

Is there a school nearby (I don't think so).

Are private lessons available where the teacher would come to me? If so, does anyone here know of such a place?
