ChiangMaiAmerican
I took this one over a year ago at the ceremony marking the casting of the head for the approximately 10 meter tall bronze Buddha image for Wat Yang Kuang in Chiang Mai. The Vulcan
Great composition and subject matter. Lots of activity. Lovely framing. Good colours too. Pity about the "Isuzu" sign though. My eyes kept wandering to it, and detracting from the image. Maybe better if it was cloned out?

Khutan
That now focuses my eyes to the hot metal being poured and then the intensity of all who are active. Well done.
legag
Better without the sign. Gotta say the bright flare and sun shines, seeing shadow caught my attention. Edited January 3, 2008 by legag
crowbait
I agree, much better..............good shot, lots of busy, smoke and the bright flare of the molten metal.
The Vulcan
Much better. I must say I'm very impressed at the control over the lighting in this shot. Every area from the highlights to the shadows reveals detail. Not an easy task. The exposure is absolutely spot on. Even the bleached out sky blends in with the overall colouring. Most impressive.
