Ex Bbc Radio 1 Deejay Farming In Thailand?

Anyone on here know where Tom Brown is?

Tom presented the chart countdown on BBC Radio 1 for five and a half years, from October 1972 to March 1978.

He later did a stint on Radio 2 and some acting in Emmerdale. He later moved to BFBS Radio Hong Kong's weekday breakfast show until the territory reverted to the Chinese in 1997.

Wiki says he is now in Thailand with his Thai wife, he owns a farm where they grow rice and mushrooms leading a peaceful life overlooking the mountains of North Central Thailand.

Korat perhaps?

I'm also ex BBC radio and living in Khon Kaen.

Why on earth do you want to hunt down somebody who only wants his privacy and gets on with his life?

Something tell's me your'e not aquainted with this guy and you may be a journalist. Not an international exclusive this story but I'm sure some of the british tabloids could eventually brand him an ''Evil Sex Predetor'' And launch him into the perverts hall of fame with Gary glitter and pals.

Forgive me for going off on a tangent. :o

I've just looked him up and it's actually Tom Browne not Brown.

I would have thought a journalist might have got the spelling right or, perhaps it's a deliberate error to throw the TV members off your scent? What I would say is that if you really are ex- BBC radio you'd have got it right.

If my doubts about you are wrong then please accept my apologies if not, crawl back into the hole from whence you came. :o

I'm ex-BBC radio as well (1956/7) but my batteries are flat now.

You are also an obvious imposter. BBC Radio was called ''the wireless'' in the '50s, as any fule kno.

Searching out persons on TV is not allowed as per TV rules but I simply stated that I did a Google search myself as any other curious person would have done. So HH pull in your claws dear

So why leave it open?

Indeed, why has this topic been left open?
