I’m currently rebuilding 2 notebooks, both based on their own XP Home SP2 OEM operating systems – no worries.

Yesterday it took me any number of hours to download 55MB of Security Updates into one of the machines using GPRS.

Question:- To save time can I copy the $hf_mig$ folder over to the 2nd notebook and manually install the 88 or so updates?

A web search returns all sorts of information about NOT deleting the folder but nothing about copying.
