Firstly, the G/F has now got her third VV (this time totally painless thanks to all the help on this forum)

As she will be in the UK during Songkran, does anyone know of any “celebrations” that go on here.I just thought it might be nice if she could not miss out.I know that Thai communities might host their own but are there any public events??

Now one for me,when in Thailand I always like to drink M150 and always bring a few bottles back but I can only find it for sale in those glass bottles for about 10 baht.Anymore than half a dozen puts the weight factor through the roof in my suitcase.Does anyone know if it is available in larger (plastic) 1 ltr say ,bottles and if so where can I buy.

If not I may have to decant 10 or 20 into an empty coke bottle and stuff that in the suitcase.

The Thai/Chinese shops in my part of the world (Bognor) all have M150 in the little bottles, a little bit more tha 10bt though. Ive never seen them in anything other than the little bottles, even in Thailand.

The big Thai temple in Wimbledon has Songkran celebrations, I think its a more sedate affair than in LOS though, not much in the way of a good water fight, too bl**dy cold here in April for that!
