Why Can’t I “copy” And “paste” Thai Text On My Computer?

Featured Replies

I can type Thai on my Computer by switching Languages in the bottom Bar in Windows but for some reason cannot copy and paste – the pasted text comes out looking like »Åһѡà»éÒ .

This happens in any application – Word etc. and even when attempting to Post on Thaivisa.

Can anyone able to tell me what I am doing wrong?

Patrick

Don't know if its a variant of the same problem, but on my computer I can't even copy any text at all (incl. English) when the language is set to TH. However, when the language is set to EN copy@pasting any text (incl. Thai) works perfectly. Do you also have the problem when language is EN?

Looks like you are pasting into a document that has an English (or non Thai) font selected. Make the text dark with your house and select a Thai font.

Don't understand the copying TH/EN problem. Are you using one of these modern things like XP or Vista?
