Baby Items In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Today I went to a Babies R Us store in the USA. It is the superstore of baby stuff like strollers, bottles, blankets, clothes, diapers, and books on babies. Is there any kind of baby store in Thailand for parents? If so can anybody recommend a good one?

Emporium Dept store has a pretty good sized selection of baby goods and clothes. Also some smaller store selling some baby goods (cribs strollers etc) near the Filipino embassy on Soi 30/1. The stores are situated btwn so 30/1 and Soi 36, same side of street.

Mothercare the UK baby stuff shop has a small outlet in the Emporium and a recently opened shop on Soi Thonglor forget which soi - early teens i sem to recall.

It is also possible to pick up their catalogue at the Emporioum

Every department or discount store in Thailand has an extensive baby section - but you may have to visit various departments rather than all in one section. There used to be a fairly large stand alone store on second floor of Central Latphao but have not noticed if it is still there. But it should not be hard to find most anything you need (although baby car seats are still uncommon).

any central or robinson department store has a good selection. i would stay away from mothercare or emporium for matters that are clear - the price. to buy baby clothing at such high prices is not very smart, no matter how stinking rich one is :o

but i agree with lopburi about safetyseats or even good quality baby carriages - these items are better bought in wurope or the us and brought here.

cheers
