Can someone tell me where's the best place to go at the moment for a multiple entry Non Imm "O" visa, I'm married to a Thai national and work outside Thailand. Penang KL or Singapore?

I got the last one from Hull UK a year ago but have no desire to go back there to get a visa even though it was a very straight forward at the time.

Believe Singapore is still good if you have proof of 400k in bank somewhere. Penang and KL are alternatives but probably not as "sure" as Singapore.

Hi. I have about 800 000 Baht in a bank in Australia. Is that acceptable? How do I prove it? Statement printed from internet?

Believe that will do it as long as statement is not more than a month old.

Be sure to have marriage certificate/copy and copy of her ID care signed and dated to prove still married. A short note from wife asking for visa to be issued is not often required but good to have in reserve.

I am also on a Non Immigrant type O, and also have no desire to go back home to get it renewed/replaced (I am now in the last 90 days, the original visa's utilize before date was in Dec). I didn't have to verify any income, bank balance, or any such thing when I got mine in the USA. Will I have to jump through those hoops this time??

You will if you apply in the neigbouring countries around Thailand

I thought the money had to be in a Thai bank or is that only for retirement visa ?

For an immigration issued extension of stay the money must be in a Thai located bank. For multi entry non immigrant O visa issue at a Consulate it is up to what they say; and in most cases is not even asked for.

what about Phnom Penh?

If you are asking about PP for a non immigrant O visa I would not recommend it as have not seen any reports of issue. There have been several reports of tourist visas but even those have been subject to delay or outright refusal in the recent past.

Is Singapore issue Multiple Non-Immigrant Visa? any document required?

As i call to Singapore, they said to me as Father can not get Non-Immigrant "O" only Mother can have it. (They apply for Dependant Visa with the children study in Thailand)

The other option can be done in Singapore?

The provision of education is that for a foreign child attending school in Thailand. In that case you should be able to obtain a single entry visa that can be extended one year at a time by Immigration under provision 7.10 providing you have 500k in a Thai bank account for the last three months. There is no dependent provision.

Hi can anyone help me i am in thailand on a non 'o' which i got from hull in dec 15th 06 finishing dec 15th 07 i left thailand on dec 10th 07 and returned same day getting another 90 days visa where can i go to get it renewed without going back to the uk and will i need anything else apart from my passport thanks for your help gtott

You are not likely to find anyplace near Thailand is all we can say for sure.
