Misty Posted February 4, 2008 Share Posted February 4, 2008 Can anyone advise on where to get good medical care in Krabi? Just heard from a friend who is currently vacationing there with his family. His son has anything from a cough and fever to walking pneumonia... He's concerned that Phuket is too far to get to quickly. The Krabi hospital apparently has a bad reputation, and he like to find somewhere to go to nearby where they'll do more then just dispense drugs without a proper check-up (chest xray or other procedure).... up-country_sinclair Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 I've been to Krabi Hospital twice (once for me and once for my wife) and while it's possibly not up to most Western standards, IMO they're certainly capable of taking and reading a chest x-ray.
