(Don't know where this topic belongs so please stick it where it needs to be.)

Planning to move back to the UK and have a few household goods that we want to take with us, maybe 4 or 5 boxes worth. What is the best way to send it? Can anyone recommend a cheap and cheerful shipping company that do this kind of excess baggage?

Thanks for any help

I've shipped my belongings to and from Thailand 3 times, my employers have managed this through Schenker - For shipping a whole household of gear 6 times and without one single breakage they definitely get my vote.

Hi - not sure of any suppliers out of thailand but one way of cutting the cost down for a HHG shipment is to go for a shared container option rather than getting a sole container which would probly be left half empty , some people dont like this option but its just as safe as any other just means you are sharing the cost with another moving back to the UK, Just note though this can take a little longer depending on route etc- just a little tip :o

If you go on google etc there is loads to choose from

good luck !
