I dont have any tats but I feel like I am the odd farang out in this country without any. I've seen all kinds in all kinds of places. When I grew up nobody had any and no one in my family does but I think it's time to break the ice and take the plunge. I was thinking about one right smack in the middle of my forehead. what do you think? I've never seen one there but just about everywhere else imaginable. I feel I am not cool with no tats

I agree with you and think a tatt on your forehead might suit you............may i suggest using your TV name "i go with you"as would go down well with the thais and maybe cooler if you get it tatooed in thai writing...im sure the locals would find it amusing and your coolness will rocket.you will definitely get more attention....guaranteed.good luck

Well a farang in Thailand musing in the evening about fitting in with the crowd in Thailand, no doubt to be done by a Thai tattoist is a close fit though eh?

Let it develop, it may be a Thai design. The OP has not discussed themes yet apart from the 2 suggestions

As he has lots of room across his shaved head, god forbid he is prematurely balding and hiding it, there is room for a card slot, a cash dispenser and even room for receipts to be printed out should he care to save them.

Dont just think of the forehead, think outside the acceptable and go for it. Be different.

I have a couple of biggish tatoos, but they're not exactly in your face, i rarely wear singlets, so with a tshirt or normal shirt, nobody ever see's it.

I've had 2 really great tatooists do mine, and i got them done for the art aspect, not to fit in or be a "hero".

each to their own, however, i don't dig little butterflies.
