My friend in Bangkok has asked me to ship some parts to him. The weight of the cargo is about 75kg and dimensions are 70x70x40cm. I live in the south of the Netherlands, very close to the German and Belgian borders. I am looking for a company through which I can send these things to him. I've tried UPS, DHL, TNT and FedEx, and all of them come up with a price of about 700-950 euro's, which is too much for him.

Does anyone know of another way to ship cargo to bangkok? Anyone know a reliable (and cheap) company through which I can send? As mentioned, I live close to both Belgium and Germany (Aachen) and I can easily go to both countries. It's no hurry, so either by ship or air is good as long as it's cheap

Check with just normal shipping companies, not expedited shipping companies like DHL, UPS. Tell them that you want to LCL something. I ship containers from all over Asia to the US and pay as little as $2400 USD for an entire 20 foot long container from Shanghai to Seattle.
