Cat And Dog Shave

hello all,

I have a small problem: I have an Alaskan Malamute and a very furry Himilayan Flame Point cat. They both require shaving, but need aneasthetic to do so, as the dog will bite and the cat will bite and scratch!!

Does anybody know of or has heard of anyone/vet offering this service? I have tried the two animal "hospitals" near Tesco, but to no avail.Any suggestions would be great!!!

the petshop in baan makham is very good at grooming and shaving. but they won't use anaesthetic. can't you put a muzzle on your dog to be able to let them shave the body and maybe the more special parts you can do by yourself, even at the petshop with their gear?

for the cat i dunno...

actually anaesthetics are dangerous and do harm, should only be used when really needed, as for operations and the like... maybe get a shaver and do it yourself

Why don't YOU MUZZLE them up and take them to your local Vet.
