I was trying to reach a friend in Ratchaburi, but her phone was shut off.

Early the next morning, a family member called to tell me that she couldn't return my call for a couple of days, because she was at temple during the New Year festival.

Then she said: เขาบวชชี

Well, I was groggy, and the phone signal wasn't very good, but it sure sounded like:

เขาปวดฉี่

Which, of course, couldn't be right.

Then I figured it out, from the context...

Seems to be an example of UH-EE in aanon's video of โน้ต อุดม. The comic begins by saying:

ตอนที่แฟนบอกเลิก โอ้โห คุณเอ้ย - So my gf says she wants to spilt up. Aww man...

Seems to be an example of the sympathy/frustration use (but am not sure...?).
