Reigning PFA Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo again heads the list of nominees for this year's award.

The Manchester United star has enjoyed another outstanding season and is nominated for both players' player and Young Player of the Year by the Professional Footballers' Association.

Arsenal pair Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor and Liverpool striker Fernando Torres are also in the reckoning for the main award as is Torres' team-mate Steven Gerrard and Portsmouth goalkeeper David James.

Ronaldo, Torres and Fabregas are joined in the running for the Young Player of the Year award by Aston Villa pair Gabriel Agbonlahor and Ashley Young plus Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

I think there is only going to be one winner and its Ronaldo again.

This season he has been even more outstanding than the last one.......is it 37 goals he's got already ?

He's probably the best player in the world,at the moment.

Torres has had an excellent first season at Liverpool......just wish it was United he signed for !

Fabregas, too, has done well but neither of them can really challenge Ronaldo for the award,I think.

Ronaldo is having the kind of season we'll be boring our grandkids about.

Probably the best player playing in Britain since George Best.

He's no Maradona or Pele and he probably never will get the same kind of recognition as he plays for a small country that will never win the world cup, but whenever he gets the ball you get excited expecting something magic to happen. That's great for football and all spectators whether you support Man Utd or not.

And well done Fergie for bringing him on and not squashing his style of play despite several seasons of him infuriatingly wasting opportunities through selfishness and showmanship

Titus Bramble.

Shambles managed to get a contract for 40000GBP a week at Wigan allegedly, so from that point of view it is possibly the greatest achievement of any footballer of such limited ability this season and he should definitely be considered.

He he he you're a funnuy guy.... :o

There is only ONE candidate, he's done enough this season to win it for three seasons IMO.

Outstanding contribution to this season's football
