Nintendo Ds Broken!

Featured Replies

I have just returned from a couple of days with relatives in Bangkok. When I got home and unpacked my stuff I found my Nintendo DS to be broken. I couldn’t believe it. It is both the hinges and also the top part of the case that are cracked. It would seem that the whole case needs replacing. I have checked on the net and they are available outside Thailand. I am wondering now if I will be able to get one in Bangkok, possibly in MBK or some where. I go away next Sunday and always take it with me on my travels. Has anyone noticed any stocked in Bangkok, or should I have some one from the UK get me one?

There are a couple of good stalls in MBK where I get my Nintendo DS stuff from that have a lot of stuff, I have never seen a spare case but then I haven't been look for one you could give them a try. Or Pan tip has everything to do with computer and console parts, I would give those a try before paying uk prices.

Yeah, I think I will try MBK. I got my stuff there too. I haven’t ever seen one, but as you say I haven’t been looking either. As far as I know it’s a fairly common occurrence with the DS, so I think I have a good chance of them being available. I have to get it fixed as I was right into Zelda and Brothers in Arms.

My advice would be to go to Pantip. They have loads of DS-equipment, and on the 4th floor there are a lot of shops that fix computers and such and could probably help you with the repair work for a modest price.
