July 28, 200323 yr I will be in BK for two nights I want to go to some bars but not in Nana or Patpong. Please can anyone make any suggestions. Preferably with girls that are not to full on, you know not '' Ding Dong ''
July 28, 200323 yr Simon, depends what you mean by "not too full on" I know a lot of the bars in Sukhumvit/Ratchadapisek/New Petchaburi road probably would fall into this category. Away from NEP/Cowboy/Pong. Have you tried the site Bangkok tonight The forum is set up for all kinds of night time activities and theres a very good listing of differing types of bars. Again it depends on your taste and I suppose where you will be staying at the time. I'm there on 9/10 August and will be having a few sherberts myself Gullivers Tavern on Suk Soi 5 is pretty good for a place to start from... HTH
July 29, 200323 yr Chonabot, I will be staying at the Belle Aire Princess in Nov. Is the bar you mentioned the bar opposite the hotel? If it is then that is where we took my sister last year.
July 29, 200323 yr Simon, You could try the Irish pubs down on Silom Rd. You won't get any bother with birds in them. Or another one is also on Silom, the Toby Jug. The BA air crew go in there sometimes.
July 29, 200323 yr Well there you go then Simon, that's the bar for you. We took my sister in there last year. She was gagging to have a look at the girlie bar scene, so i took her in that one. My, she was so disapointed!
