Thanks BMW, but looking for copies, they use to be about 200 baht, maybe they have gone up a little by now, thanks. :o

Buying and Selling copies is illegal TC.Stay on the legit route.

if ya cant find fake football tops in bangkok you maybe need a new set of glasses :o

Now that's a good idea. Buy cheap new glasses for football referees. You'll be cornering a nice little market with that one.

A few million football fans surely can't be wrong. :D

Pattaya.........opposite the end off Pattayaland Soi 1 (2nd road) shop called Candys he/ll sort you out with any team and amount you want and arrange delivery to UK for you thats if you dont want to sort it out yourself......shirts are through a mirrored sliding door to rear of shop so dont be surprised if you dont see them upon first look........cost approx 300baht ......less if you order more obviously.

Thaicoon

You can see lots of football shirts on the streets, Pat Pong and Nana(Sukhumvit) mostly.

They charge crazy prices there though.

The best place is Pratunam. On the main corner there are plenty but they will haggle you for a good price.

The best in bangkok is a soi perpindicular to petchburi road, opposite panthip plaza.

Cross from Panthip and go a bit towrds the corner of Pratunam.

The shirts were quite far down the soi when I bought some about 1 year ago.

You can get cheap ones , but not good quality for 200B. The best quality are 300/350 depending on if you get a players name on the back. You have to, of course, haggle them down to this price, and maybe you can get cheaper than this.

They have all the teams, even away strips.

Good Hunting

LOL some people just never learn when to keep quiet. Thai Flyer What do you get from boasting about being in the know?

Pvt Dick, I you are what you say you are then you are a Public Dick actually, you deserve everything you get you moron.

PvtDick, dare you post your photo for the Thai's to see? at least HTV lets everyone know what he looks like he is not scared of the flak or reprocusions of anything he does, how about you?

I doubt it very much, lets see you dont have white hair do you? in your 50's and used to work for microsoft lawyers here in TH?

Note to Admin: can't you ban him? block his IP address so he can't read the forum?

I'm not ashamed to show my face; I've been on television and in the papers here many times. Besides, I don't see any Thais getting upset here -- only farangs who think it's no big deal to break the law.

think some people have to think a little bit more about what they are posting and the implications of what they write

Yeah your right............PvtDick is probably the type who eavesdrops on bar conversations as well.....Billynomates!

Break the law....dont make me laugh ,if the company's you represent didnt charge 40 pound for a shirt they have made in LOS for a couple of quid they would be no need for the fakes! Who are the real crooks?

It's called capitalism, cowboy. And the old argument that high price justifies theft just doesn't hold water; go steal a Ferrari and see how far it gets you with the cops.

You can't afford it, or think it's too expensive, don't buy it. It's not a necessity of life that one wears a tacky football jersey.

You mean to say you are a pvt dick looking for fake shirts and you can't find them?

You can't be very good :D

I know there is nothing you can do about it. Prove me wrong and if I look on Sukhimvit road tomorrow, there will be no football shirts for sale, I don't think so.

If there are still shirts for sale then I know you are a exposeddick :o

I would love to be there when you ask them to sto selling the shirts, after the police get involved! You would be a very brave man to try this.

Well let me ask you something if you are out socialising with friends and one of them happened to relay the same information i just have in general conversation without knowing what you do for a living.......what would you do?

I don't think I said I can stop anyone; I don't have a magic wand. If they're stubborn enough (or have deep enough pockets), they can certainly continue. I can, however, get them raided, their stock seized, and the owner sent to court to receive a fine (up to 400,000 baht, but more likely in the 50K - 100K range). Do it enough times, and they may just consider selling something legal instead. If they don't, well just fine by me! More business!

And I'm not interested in street vendors with a couple dozen shirts. Candy, though, with its secret back room, sounds much more interesting.

I'd use the information in the same way I plan to use yours. This is a public forum, not a confessional.
