Cracked Psp Screen

Featured Replies

Hi,

Accidentally sat on my PSP and now has the screen cracked showing no image at all. Sound and other functions working normally. Bought it from the MBK, but where is the best place to have the screen replaced, and for about how much? Will it be worth replacing, or would it be better to buy a new one for 6,800 baht?

Cheers!

Well, I boughta replacement one from art and gun game, (MBK), it's just a plastic cover, about 300 baht i think. The Lcd panel should still be ok underneath. The only problem was it wasn't totally clear underneath (they didn't have a protectuve seal on it) so you can still see slight smudges in the light. But overall it's a big improvement.

You can check out how to how to put it in on from youtube.

Unfortunately, it is the LCD screen that I meant was cracked. I'm guessing it should be a couple of thousand baht to replace?!

theres a good shop in central lat phrao in the basement that sell all sorts im sure they have them in there

Try calling NADZ project too, see if they can replace them. I was in there once and they were doing some kind of surgery on a psp!

Just a top secret copy/paste from our supplier in China:

PSP -101 PSP 1000 replace LCD without back light ???

PSP -102 PSP1000 replace LCD with back light USD 26.0

PSP -103 PSP2000 replace LCD with back light USD 53.0

we don't deal with that stuff, but it is on the list.

if the add 20-30 % and charge 200 Baht for installation than it seems ok.
