seobangkok
I'm a huge wordpress fan and wanted to know how many other's living in Thailand use or want to learn more about the free publishing platform, Wordpress? Wordcamps are being set up all around the world, which aims to bring wordpress users under one roof for a day or two for networking, learning and sessions from the people who know a thing or two about WP. I'm toying with the idea of setting one up in Bangkok, but would like suggestions on how I could find out the level of interest. I have the resources to organise speakers, sessions, venue and sponsors. That just leaves attendees. What do you guys think? Are there enough people in Thailand, and the neighboring countries that use wordpress to make such an event work out? Failing a big(ish) event, maybe just start off with a small group meeting up in a coffee house to see how things went? I know there are a lot of web publishers that are based in Thailand, and an opportunity to meet others in the same field sounds like great fun!
