Cheaper Way To Fly?

Saw a funny story on the Asian business news this morning. Indians that cannot afford to fly, can purchase a ticket for 4$, go to the airport,board an Airbus A300, spend a few hours sitting there, have in flight service, or should it be in ground service, then disembark and the aircraft has not moved. Wonder if they get in flight movies?
