Tot Smtp Problems

Featured Replies

Anyone else getting an error when sending mail via the TOT SMTP in Bangkok? Error message something like: Too many connections to this listerner.

Dave

Yes, since last night I have been getting the same error.

There was a whole lot of lightning last night here in Bangkok and my True connection dropped to a 200k in country speed and has just returned to normal 500k range so there are probably a lot of tripped breakers having to be reset this morning.

This is affecting me as well in Chanthaburi. According to TOT is a nation wide problem (again :o ) that they don't know when it will be fixed. I'm getting rather tired of TOT's lackluster service. Unfortunately, it's the only ISP in my area that provides broadband Internet (if you can call the speed I'm getting broadband!).

Tompa,

I just uploaded a Program named Free SMTP Server to the Download of Thaivisa.

This let install an SMTP Server on your computer and bypass the ISP SMTP, so no need of them. You can use with most of E-Mail Clients as well.

It would be fine to get some Feedback of the use of this software for to inform other Members about the relaibility and use of this program

Cheers.

Reimer, you are awesome, I will download tonight and let you know if it works for me.
