The price for the Asus EEEPC is dropping a lot. At Seri today I saw and 4 GB Model for 7,400, the one with 7" screen. The newer is just 11,000 now but that price will drops more I believe.

Slowly get interesting for me to buy one but will wait a bit more.

There a few shops selling that EEEPC in an range of THB 7,400 - 8,xxx o the 3. floor at Seri Center. In other IT Mall believe the price will be the same.

That will be the 900 for sure. The 901 and the 1000 are probably on their way in - or already here - so the 900 is now an outdated model a mere couple of months after its introduction...

Yeah, I'm interested in the 901 myself, according to reports in other countries, it should cost slightly less than tha 20GB 900, so maybe we'll see it here for 17K at the beginning.

The Aspire One is now available at 14.900 baht

so I suppose Asus had to adjust its EeePc prices

But 11.xxx, even if 11.999 baht, is VERY low for a EeePc 900 ...

Is it with or without the 7% taxe ?

About the VAT, it's a kind "game" of the seller.

In the real the retail price is include VAT if that product was imported on legal base. But if you ask for an VAT Bill they try to add the 7%!

So, it's depend on the Buyer how to deal with them.

hello friend, can you please tell me where you have seen the Aspire One for sale (and actually in stock!) here in Pattaya? would run out and purchase today if available, out of all the new netbooks the Aspire One is of most interest to me..!
