Hi! Are there any Canadians out there?

I understand that the Thai government has imposed a new law limiting the number of '30 day visa on arrivals' to 90 days during a 180 day period. I have a girlfriend in BKK and was told that it may be possible to obtain a one year 'O' visa to visit girlfriend. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience regarding this matter.

A Canadian passport holder cannot get a Visa On Arrival. They can get a 30 day Visa Exempt Stamp.

The rule is a total of 90 days in a 6 month period.

Do not know what the consulates in Canada issue, you will have to ask them.

This is the Vancouver website.
