There's a great application called Imagewell which is very easy to use - a good way to resize and convert pics quickly, and yes you can add text, change the font & colour and even put it in boxes, speech and thought bubbles.

The old version was free and I had it for a year and a half, but I made the mistake of accepting the update one day and since then I have to download it every ten days to make use of the free trial.

Anyway, now it's got to the point where I can't even get the free trial... Without getting a credit card is there anyway I can get it for free again? I don't mind having the old version.

It's a shame because I'm perfectly willing to buy it, but the world isn't designed for those without a credit card. I had a credit card before until I realized it was just another way for the 'system' to get you to part with all your money. I paid my debt and swore never to have one again, which does make buying things on the internet very difficult.

I fear the free version was discontinued.

Regarding the payments on the net:

you do not really need a credit card now - I also avoid using them, especially that you have to deposit 100.000,- THB to get one .

Now I am using my BangkokBank debit card with PayPal. Easy to control and I always deposit only the amount I need to use
