We normally drive down to Buddys in Lamai, but with the increased traffic etc its getting a bit of a drag.

We pay about 80 baht each in Buddys, which is great.

I have used the Mermaid in the past but find the pools a bit warm and hardly any beds.

No not really as long as I can waiter service! Seriously though im open to any suggestions.

I used Sabouy facing Picnic basket for a while but ended up getting told we wasnt wanted about 2 years ago. We were well behaved and bought drinks and meals. When it was low season we were welcomed with open arms and in high season we got launched!! Never again!

Best is to go a day before and speak to the manager to ensure all is okay and ask who and what to pay. Ask for a receipt too...

I went to Maya Buri and had to pay 100 baht.

I usually go to Mermaid (airport side) and there usually isn't anyone else there so the number of beds has never been an issue.

try Smile House in bohput. they charge 50 baht and you get choice of 2 pools.i think it includes towels

Thanks for all the info. Gives us more options when over in August. Glad the Ghost Road is better, it was a mare in Feb.
