Shipping Nightmare

So I'm having a dog shipped from Italy to Phuket and it has turned into a nightmare.  First I can't book from Thailand for this, so I asked the breeder to book with thai air cargo.  He calls their office in Italy and they say that if they put the dog in a non pressuized hold the dog will die, but they can't put it in a pressurized cabin unless someone is traveling with the dog.

 The breeder does have an agent that can ship, but his fee is astronomical.  

Does anyone have any recommendations for shipping?  UPS, FedEx, EMS? Cargo Service?  

I have all necessary paperwork, but now getting pressured by the breeder to either pay the exorbitant fee, or lose the dog that I have already paid for ( another story in itself, just looking for shipping recommendations).

You may give it a try. Do it fast though, as it says on their website they are closed from August 1 to 28.

Have you considered routing through Amsterdam via KLM? They have a dog kennel facility as well so the dog can be kept under humane conditions while awaiting a next day connection. No offense, but I wouldn't trust my dog to TG or any other airline except KLM unless I was on the flight.

Thanks, I'll look into these.  Wonder if KLM has any restrictions on flying a dog through Holland, or if nothing is needed for the transit?
