krêuang rót mâi dâai dtìt way-laa mŏon goon-jàe.

In colloquial Thai, you can also use สตาร์ท [pronounced สะต๊าด] 'start' in the sense of starting a car.

You can say สตาร์ทไม่ติด to mean you can't get it to start (implying you're turning the key).

Or perhaps หมุนกุญแจ แต่สตาร์ทไม่ติด (I turned the key, but it won't start).
