Delivery Service Companies Within Thailand

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a delivery company that operates within Thailand? I'm looking to send stuff - 6 boxes, each 25 kg weight, 80x60x10 cm - from Bangkok to Sisaket.

They are moderately fragile, so a firm that takes care of the parcels would be preferred - personal experiences of such companies would be great.

Just to close off this thread, I used Thai Parcels Co. Ltd: http://www.thaiparcels.com/

But you need to tell us whether they were any good.

No problems - a little slow, as they probably waited until they got a van load before delivering. Took about 10 days altogether, but no reports of anything damaged.

About 7 baht per kilo - 1,070 baht for 150 kilos. (A lot less than the post office)

Another option is Nim See Seng have offices near BoBae market, I know they have the best BKK-Chiangmai run, they do Issan and international as well. The rates are good. I have used them extensively and they have a great track record of delivering stuff ontime and with little handling issues.

Boater, for a local company, these guys do international as well, you are advised to package goods carefully yourself. From our factory we uses all the known big couriers for international work, we often send stuff through registered post and EMS when all the legal requirements get to be a pain in the ass with Board of Investment paper work, so I recommend them throughly.

Just used them again. This time the boxes were much bigger, but lighter. They did not contain solid wood panels like the first time, but kitchen cabinets already assembled.

This time 2,040 baht for 68 kilos = 30 baht / kilo.

This time he measured the boxes and calculated the cost based on volume. I don't know for sure whether he measured the boxes the first time when the charge was 1,070 baht. That time I divided the cost by the total weight (that I measured) to get the figure of 7 baht / kilo. But maybe it's volume that he always uses, :o and the first time they were small, but heavy boxes.
