Mitsubishi Heavy Duty Or Mitsu Electric

Hello guys,

I will move into a townhouse soon and need an air conditioner for a 20 sqm bedroom.

The Mitsubishi Heavy Duty SRK13CHV for 19,900 Baht or the Mitsubishi Electric Econo MS-SGD13VC for 20,900 Baht are in my favor.

Both come with installation special pipes and 2 times maintenance.

The seller told me that the compressor and the build are the same but Mitsu Heavy has two years warranty and is for export but Mitsu Electric for Thailand only and comes with one year warranty.

The only other differences besides the price and the look are that the Heavy Duty have a self cleaning function and an 24 hour timer instead of the 12 hour timer.

Considering all the facts I would go for the Heavy Duty but I read in this forum that the Mitsu Electric supposed to be much better.

My question is why the Mitsu Electric should be better. Does anybody know any technical differenses?
