University lecturer fired for molesting female student

UBON RATCHATANI: -- The public university here fired its liberal arts lecturer after he was caught on video molesting his female student.

Supachai Hathongkham, acting rector of the Ubon Ratchathani University, said a disciplinary probe found Assoc Prof Jakrit Uttho guilty and decided to dismiss him from service since Tuesday.

Supachai was caught on video hugging and caressing his female student inside his office.

He is also facing a criminal action after the student filed complaint with police.

am somehow suprised its says supachai was caught ( which is the acting rector) but earlier it says jakrit Uttho was guilty and dismissed.... Doesnt make sense....
