A really good friend of mine is sitting in Jail...

Sentenced for 10 years...he is a Thai citizen

Trust me he was at the wrong time at the wrong Place...

Is there any way or possibility to get him out there earlier?

he was with some ``friends`` at a girls house...

while he was with one other guy in the living room almost sleeping..cause they were drunk...

the rest of the guys were raping a girl in the bed room

The courts might be lenient if somehow he’s friends mentioned that or even the girl would say he was not apart of it. how well do you know your friend? Where your there to know what happened? He might be BS you.

i know him for a few years...

maybe he would beat someone..maybe he would rob a bank...as anyone of us...but trust me..he never would rape a woman..never.

na the girl was a sleep...dont know what the other guys gave her..

and the other guys doesnt say nothing at all...

i believe it cause i know him. and i know how much he loves his wife and his baby child...

Money always talks.

If there's no hope. And u say you're a as good friends as can get. Try to make his stay more comfy. And tell the wife he is not guilty of the crime. You are much better to talk to a crime defense lawyer in legal matters that's for sure.

Edit: If you can talk to the guys who committed the crime. Make a deal with them to tell the truth to let him free. It might get pricey.

Only dosh will get him out I'm afraid and sometimes you are unaware of what your mates can be capable of - I'd have to think the lady must have ID him as one of the assailants to get 10yrs.

How many times have you heard a mother saying, "My son/daughter would never do such a thing."

The above statement has no validity whatsoever since people can change their minds at the "drop of a hat".

In this case, only evidence by witnesses can absolve your friend, if indeed he is innocent.

In the meantime, don't worry yourself. Get along with your own life unless you have the money to donate for good legal representation.

And what do you expect anyone here to do about it? You need to go speak to the cop who lead the investigation and if he won't talk to you speak to his superior. I would make sure you have a fat wallet, or better yet dustbin bag full of cash before attempting anything. EVERYONE including the other guys who actually did this will want their palms greasing.

I think it best to ignore this thread. It is a total waste of fresh air.
