I have a minimum income of 40,000B from my UK pension going into a UK bank account , i am confused about having to proove this income to immigration, do es my income have to be transferred into a Thai bank account or can i get a letter from UK embassy prooving my income in a UK bank account equivalant to the 40,000b , i do have a THai bank account but i use an ATM card from my UK bank to draw money for living expenses, the balance of any money remaining i leave i a UK savings account, i do not have enough savings for the 400, 000 b requied as an alternative way to obtain an O marriage visa, Will be gratefull for anyone to give advice on nnthis

There is no alternative 400k for new applicants. The requirement is 40k family income and for your overseas income that requires an Embassy letter. Some have reported additional demands at some offices but the basic requirement is the letter. The alternative is for the wife to earn by showing proof of tax payments.

This is for one years extension of stay - it is not for visa issue from a Consulate.

There is no alternative of 400,000 Baht in the bank for new applicants.

You need a letter from your Embassy to prove your pension.
