crabstix
I have a dopod c720 smartphone (aka T-mobile dash). I will be moving to Korea soon and have been told that my smartphone won't work there as they use CDMA (not sure what that even is!) Anyway, can I buy CDMA phones in LOS? I want something with a qwerty keyboard for easy typing.

dotcom
Yeah that's too bad. Cuz 3G is already obsolete. Might be great here in the back woods where GSM has been rammed down our throats. But in the USA they already have 3.5G & 4G is comin fast. So Hutchinson make the best buggy whip. I agree they are horrible at marketing.
nikster
No guarantee that a CAT CDMA phone would work in Korea - more likely, not. Buy your phone in Korea. They sell 'em there.
jeffer
Buy it in Korea. Their mobile phone range is second to none with all kinds of weird and wonderful models that you never see outside Korea or Japan. In Seoul there is a IT type shopping centre with even more phone shops than MBK. Can't think of the name but anyone in Seoul will know the place.
