bkkgruntt
Hi there,, New to Thai Visa and this forum. Have been living in Thailand for the past couple years but not back in the UK for a while helping out my mother(retiree) who lives alone. Looking for any info and advice on healthcare coverage/healthcare insurance for expat retirees living in Thailand as my mother has expressed a real interest in moving back to Thailand with me. She loves Thailand from past visits to me, and has grown tired of living in the UK and being alone so much. She has a better than avg pension but would obviously need at least a good inpatient/hospitalization plan if she was living there. Any advice from current expat retirees that are over there enjoying the good years of their retirement life would be appreciated. from a caring & concerned Son in the UK
ThaivisaInsurance
Your best solution is to contact the Thai Visa Insurance service saying how old your mother is - then Thai Visa Insurance can offer the several solutions available to her. http://insurance.thaivisa.com/quote-form
ballbreaker
BUPA Thailand is also a source for insurance. If you do a search on this forum you should also find other companies that provide insurance.
ThaivisaInsurance
BUPA Thailand is also a source for insurance. If you do a search on this forum you should also find other companies that provide insurance. Unfortunately BUPA is not a source of medical insurance for elderly retirees who have not started their plans before the age of 60.
