August 15, 200817 yr Can anybody recommend a web host. I don't use massive amounts of storage or bandwidth. I will want to host 4-6 sites. I have looked around for a web hosting review site , but they appear to have been written by one of the hosting companies My previous host Canaca do not get my recommendation. Cheers
August 15, 200817 yr There's a Danish guy in Pattaya just behind Tukcom. The company is called IT-Mechanics. Don't forget to mention my name...
August 15, 200817 yr Danish, I am pretty sure he was Swedish .... Percy2, if you had searched TV, you would have found a very recent thread with pretty good recommendations ... I won't repeat him though, but I am sure you are able to find this particular thread with a little persistence .... BTW Do you need advice about internet providers?
August 15, 200817 yr Danish, I am pretty sure he was Swedish .... There is a HUGE difference!! Get your Scandinavians right.
August 15, 200817 yr Koreans, Japanse, Chinese they are all the same to me ... just like Scandinavians ...
August 15, 200817 yr I use Bravenet for years, never had a problem with them. You will need only one hosting account for all your websites. Price is 4 USD/month (I believe) if you sign up for 5 years.
August 15, 200817 yr Author Bravenet looks interesting. I like the way it doesn't matter which length of service you sign up for , all packages seem to have the same facilities. Cheers
August 16, 200817 yr We've been with godaddy.com for years. Reliable and decent customer service. I think they're the biggest in the world. Avoid those samller companies and especially 3ix.org AVOID AVOID AVOID. Multiple threads about this company in here on TV in the past about there appaling service... August 16, 200817 yr Don't like Godaddy.com for hosting personally.. they make all their own software and their site is slow. Hostgator.com is a good and very large one. They use Cpanel and you get all the standard stuff like Fantasitico. This is a good place to look: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=45
