Hi there,

Am booked business class on Qatar Airways and have paid the extra 100 US$ for an STPC in Doha because of a 9 and a half hour layover.

Does anyone know which hotel in Doha uses for STPC (stopover paid by carrier)?

Easy, Qatar Airways does not give free STPC anymore, you have to pay 100 US$ more for your ticket to have it included.

I agree that they should name it something different.

Thanks for that link. I've checked with Qatar but they say "depends". So maybe I'm in for a treat or a disappointment.

QR will let you change virtually any fare - both before and after departure. Obviously the fees will vary - for our £375 rtn tickets from MAN to HKG it's £100.

Make a ghost booking on Qatar's website.

As soon as you come to the pricing part there's a button for ticket rules.
