English-speaking Personal Assistant Needed

A full-time position is available as the Personal Assistant of the headmaster of an international school in the On Nut area - to assist in day-to-day activities, both personal and work-related.

Qualifications:

· THAI NATIONAL with reasonable English-speaking skills

· Recent university graduate preferred

· Good interpersonal and communication (in Thai) skills

· Basic computing (word processing, web browsing, etc.) skills

· Possesses a valid Thai drivers license with experience driving SAFELY in Bangkok

· Prefer male (for driving and handyman tasks)

· Trustworthy, healthy, and professional in appearance and demeanour

Extra skills that would be nice, but not absolutely necessary:

· Familiar with desktop publishing or other more complex computer skills

· Sports background - basketball, football, volleyball, racquet sports (squash or tennis) - to assist in coaching

· Performance background (singing, dancing, or instrumental) or artistically inclined

· Fishing (I go fishing in the ocean up to twice a month)

Schedule:

· Typically Monday to Friday, occasionally may need to work on Saturday.

· Hours vary as needed, but will not exceed 50 hours/week.

Compensation:

· 12,000 Baht/month + extra pay if qualified for a part-time school position (see extra skills list)

Examples of duties include:

· Miscellaneous office tasks related to a school’s day-to-day operations

· Occasional translating

· Assist with the organization and preparation of the school’s artistic performances

· Assist with the preparation and set-up of miscellaneous extra-curricular activities, school sports & events

· Making arrangements for miscellaneous personal activities, such as fishing trips, golf outings, theatre bookings, etc.

· Take care of miscellaneous personal tasks such as bill payments, shopping, washing the car, etc.

· Occasional Driving

· Arrange for and supervise periodic housekeeping service(s)

· Etc.
