Visa Run

Featured Replies

I've got lost a bit with the regulations.Would like to know about the stamps' rule.I know that you shouldn't have more than 3 stamp or so for 6 months-Does it include stamps that I've got at the Thai consulat in Laos ? I've got already 2 of those and another 1 at the boredr .Can I go to the border to get another one?

It's not the number of stamps, but the number of days you have spent in the country on visa exemption. These cannot exceed 90 days in any 6 months, but you could have as many stamps as you wanted.

Visa exempt entries are those when you have no valid visa, and are given a 30 visa exempt stamp at immigration. The 'stamps' that you got in Laos I am assuming were tourist visas, so anytime spent here on those visas does not count towards your 90 days.
