200,000 Baht’s worth of valuables taken following house robbery in Si Kow Tha Low.

On Sunday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Sarort from Pattaya Police Station was called to a house at the Egmonkol Village 3 in Soi Kow Tha Low. The house owner, Khun Wiparat aged 41 explained to Police that she was away from the house between 13th and 16th August.

She returned from a trip to her home town to find that her house had been broken into. The point of entry was the toilet window. The grill covering the window had been unscrewed and then the unlocked window was opened and the thief climbed through the small gap.

Items stolen included 2 laptops, 7 wrist watches, 1 mp3 player and 3 digital cameras totaling around 200,000 Baht in value. At the entrance to the Village, Police noticed there was a single CCTV camera which was unfortunately non-operational at the time of the robbery. Fingerprints were taken from the scene however, and Police are investigating the theft at this time.
