Man injured in fight over a safety helmet.

In the early hours of Saturday Morning, Khun Tawat aged 32 was taken to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital following a fight between himself and his s-called friend over a safety helmet.

Khun Tawat sustained cuts to his hand and his so-called friend, Khun Ruk, ran away following the knife attack which took place at the home of Khun Tawat after the pair drank together. Both became drunk and Khun Ruk began to argue with his friend over a safety helmet which Khun Tawat borrowed and did not give back. Both men started to fight, but Khun Ruk realized that his friend could easily overpower him.

At this point, Khun Ruk picked up a knife and repeatedly slashed Khun Tawat’s hand. Before Khun Ruk left the house and his friend, lying on the floor in agony, he made sure that he took his helmet with him. Police are now searching for Khun Ruk who will be charged with assault when caught.
