India have to be careful. Tarffs is one thing, but if they start putting restrictions on Visas for indians then it's game over. -

Accident Drunk Delivery Driver & Pickup Plunge Into Canal
Pictures courtesy of Khaosod. A delivery driver who admitted to drinking alcohol before getting behind the wheel crashed his pickup truck into the back of a young woman’s car, sending both vehicles into a roadside canal near Thammasat University Rangsit Campus. Police and emergency responders from Klong Luang Police Station rushed to the scene on the outbound Phahonyothin Road frontage lane, after being alerted to the collision at around 07:00 on 7 August. Upon arrival, they found a Nissan March submerged partially on its side in a large water-filled ditch. The car was damaged, but the driver, 28-year-old Ms. Nichakan, had managed to escape with only minor injuries. Rescue teams recovered dozens of iPhones and accessories from the flooded vehicle. Ms. Nichakan, an online phone vendor, said she had just collected 40 iPhones for resale and was en route to her home in Nava Nakorn when the crash occurred. “I saw the pickup speeding behind me, then it slammed into my car and sent me off the road. The car plunged into the canal,” she said. “All the phones are ruined, I’ve lost hundreds of thousands of baht.” Roughly 20 metres from the first vehicle, an Isuzu pickup bearing Sakon Nakhon registration plates was also found submerged. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Mr. Supakorn escaped unharmed but appeared heavily intoxicated. Police found parcels in the back of the truck, confirming Mr. Supakorn was a delivery worker. He admitted to having consumed alcohol prior to driving home to Khlong Song. “Yes, I drank alcohol,” he told officers. Deputy Investigator Pol Lt. Supachai Chaemchoi photographed the scene for evidence and escorted Mr. Supakorn to Klong Luang Police Station for a formal alcohol breath test. Charges are expected to follow pending results of the investigation. Adapted by Asean Now from Khaosod 2025-08-08 -

Those of you who live on 40k a month
Of course knew about the embassies stopping their letters, UK, USA, and Oz, that was donkeys years and years ago. (Due to immigration wanting the letters to really verify the income and pension, rather than simply confirming a signature or an affidavit). But some embassies continued and their countrymen were fortunate to have this easy way forward. Combination method went on as before, I never really heard of this being completely withdrawn. Never had to use it. I don't have to keep up, I put the 800k in a FD account a long time ago! -
