Documents Checklist For Non-imm 'b' Yearly Extension / Wp Extension

Dear All,

I'll be applying for my second yearly non-imm 'B' extension + extension of WP based on extension of stay.

Gathering all the information I can, i've compiled a checklist of all the documents reqd.

Pl. advise if the list is complete or any additions / omissions are reqd.

Documents reqd. for extension of non-imm 'B' :

1. Application Form T.M. 7 (for extension of an alien who enters the Kingdom for not more than 90 days)

2. A copy of the passport (main page, visa page, entry stamp page) or substitute document.

3. One 4 x 6 cm. color photo

4. A recommendation letter from the company showing the positions of the applicant as well as the position of all foreigners working in the company and for what reasons these aliens must be employed.

5. Work permit or the receipt showing the alien has applied for such a permit from the Ministry of labour and Social welfare.

6. The alien's personal tax details including: balance, profit and loss, entity income tax, Vat records for the past year.

7. Certificate of entity registration, company registration certificate of limited company or commercial registration or VAT registration and list of partnerships.

8. Export companies must submit document of export transactions, i.e. bank or company transactions. (N/A)

9. A photocopy of the employing company's Affidavit and Shareholders' List certified as a true copy of the original by the Ministry of Commerce

10. A photocopy of the employing company's most recent Annual Financial Statements certified as a true copy of the original by the auditor who audited it.

11. A photocopy of the employing company's most recent Personal Income Tax Return (PND1) with the Revenue Department's receipt plus a photocopy of the applicant's most recent Annual Personal Income Tax Return (PND91) (if they have one) certified as a true copy of the original by the Revenue Department.

12. A photocopy of the employing company's most recent Social Security Fund monthly return certified as a true copy of the original by the Social Security Fund Office.

Documents required for extension of WP based on extension of stay

1. Copy of company certificate.

2. Income year end report ( Por Ngor Dor.1,50,51 and 90,91 )

3. Letter of employment

4. Audited accounts

5. Letter of power of attorney

6. Work permit

Also required for the Extension of Permission to Stay under section 7.1 of National Poloce Order 606/2549: Certificate of employment in the form prescribed by the Immigration Bureau.(basically a Thai pro forma from immigration filled out by your employer).

Couple of details:

6. Individuals are not normally vat registered

9. Shareholder document must be certified within the previous 6 months.

11. and 12. Must show Thai employees and tax/social security payments for them. You may find it extremely difficult to persuade the revenue dept to certify your Por Ngor Dor 91, but the payment receipt and copy of the original should do.
