I used Skype for a long time, but they became expensive when they started to impose a connection fee, so I switched to Yahoo Voice. The quality of Skype also became bad and I often had to try several times before getting a decent line. Yahoo has been excellent -- better quality and much cheaper at 1 cent a minute to N.A. and to London, England. Other UK rates are as follows:
